ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (WLFI) - Former Purdue and Harrison baseball star Josh Lindblom had a stellar debut Thursday, July 2 for his Triple-A team, the Isotopes. In his first game on the mound for the Los Angeles Dodger's Triple A affiliate in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lindblom got the win.

He pitched 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits and one run. He struck out 4. The right handed pitcher faced 24 batters and threw 89 pitches, 55 of which were strikes.

He even had his bat going. He went 1-2. Lindblom singled to centerfield. And of course his team won, 3-2.

Up until last night, Lindblom had pitched the entire season for the Dodgers' Double-A affiliate in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
