Mills makes verbal commitment to Hillsdale

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Central Catholic High School football player Timmy Mills has made a verbal commitment to Hillsdale College.

Central Catholic head coach Kevin O'Shea made the announcement on Tuesday morning.

The 5’10, 150 pound wide receiver helped the Knights win 59 games during his high school career. Mills hauled in 70 passes for almost 1,400 yards and 11 touchdowns as a Knight.

Number 5 began his senior year under center and as the CC Quarterback. In four games as the Knights QB, Mills passed for over 400 yards and rushed for nearly 500 yards while racking up 9 total touchdowns.

Mills will join Hillsdale on a full-tuition scholarship to play wide receiver. The Chargers are a division two program that is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Last season Hillsdale finished with a 7-4 record overall.
