LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The season wrapped up in boys high school swimming and diving on Saturday.
Lafayette Jeff diver Dustin Miller capped off a stellar career by finishing third in the state in the one-meter diving event at IUPUI.
It is the highest finish in school history by a Bronchos' diver.
"It was a pretty big deal and it was awesome with the support that I have gotten from my coaches and teammates here at Jeff. It is pretty awesome to be the only diver to ever be on the podium at Jeff in a state meet," said Lafayette Jeff senior Dustin Miller. "So, it was awesome to know that and getting to put Jeff out there on the map a little bit. I had a couple letdowns when I made it to the meet the past few years. So, this year to make the podium and be at the top was pretty awesome."
Miller has signed his letter of intent to compete in diving at Florida State. Miller plans on studying athletic management.
