McCutcheon knocks off Harrison in OT on Sectional Championship Saturday

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Sectional Championship Saturday was filled with drama once again this year as the McCutcheon girls soccer team lived to play another day after coming back from a 1 goal deficit in the final 20 minutes to knock off Harrison in overtime 2-1.

The Mavericks and Raiders played two 10 minute overtime periods before the game came down to penalty kicks (3-2). The Mavericks scored when they needed to and will now advance to the Logansport Regional which is set for next Wednesday at 5 p.m. McCutcheon will play the winner of the Yorktown versus Jay County match.
