Martin's Moments November 4

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - All three of my Martin's Moments selections came from Friday night and the sectional title games in high school football.

I decided not to select a specific play at number three this week. Instead, I have dedicated this spot to Winamac's football team. They lost to West Central in the regular season 49-7. However, in the sectional title game Winamac picked up the 49-13 win over West Central. What an incredible performance by Winamac!

I chose Brandon Rooze's pass to Garrett Gray as my number two play. The pass came on 4th and 2 and instead of converting the play into a first down, Gray was able to score a touchdown. Benton Central played an incredible game but fell short in the end to Tipton. Congratulations to Benton Central on a great season!

Central Catholic's Timmy Mills owns the right to the number one spot this week. He made the most spectacular play of the week in my opinion as he scooped the pass up off the ground for a reception. He showed great concentration as he helped move the chains for the Knights.
