Martin's Moments May 27

WEST LAFAYETTE Ind. (WLFI) - This was one of the toughest weeks for me to rank my top three plays in Martin's Moments. I really think all three of them could have tied.

I decided to pick Harrison's sectional title win over McCutcheon as my number three play. There wasn't a specific play that was spectacular which made me place it in the number three position. Harrison pulled off a spectacular win over a McCutcheon team that many believed to be the favorite in this sectional. I was very impressed with the Raiders and they had to earn a spot in Martin's Moments this week.

I chose McCutcheon's incredible eight inning win over Lafayette Jeff in the Harrison sectional. Going into the bottom of the 8th inning, McCutcheon's Darbie Smeltz had the game winning hit as the Mavericks pulled off the dramatic 1-0 win over the Bronchos. If McCutcheon went on to win the sectional title, I probably would have placed this as my number one play.

The most spectacular play that our cameras caught this week was at the Tri-County baseball sectional on Saturday. North White's Dalton Fleck made an incredible diving catch for the out. It was the most impressive play that I saw this week, which made me select it  as my number one moment of the week.
