Martin's Moments May 20

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - This week in Martin's Moments I decided to make my number three play, Sarah Burns' win at three-singles for West Lafayette. The sectional title came down to the one-singles match between West Lafayette and Harrison and Burns delivered as she won in three sets to give the Lady Red Devils their third straight sectional title.

At number two, I chose Jade Spitznagle's double play against Carmel. I thought it was a little more spectacular to watch and that is why I pushed it up to number two. Spitznagle made the snag and then tagged the runner on her way to second. She then threw to first for the second out to turn the incredible double play.

My number one choice this week was an easy one. I chose Danny Anthrop's performance at the boys track and field sectionals. He broke the 100 meter dash sectional record and the 200 meter dash sectional record. That performance is definitely worth of the top spot this week.
