Martin's Moments June 3

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - This was a fun week in Martin's Moments. I had so many great plays to choose from. I didn't really know how to rank them this week because all of them could have been number one plays. I ended up choosing the order by just what was more spectacular to watch.

McCutcheon's pitcher Justin Curry threw a no-hitter against Logansport and had just one walk. I made that my number five play this week.

At number four, I decided to go with Peter Ripke's perfect game against Marion. It was just the second time in Lafayette Jeff history that a pitcher had thrown a perfect game. That could easily be number one, but it was just a tough week to rank as I said.

I decided to choose Mike Carnahan's three-run home run as my number three play. I was just impressed with the hit and the fact that it gave the Raiders the 4-3 win!

Carroll's Katelynn Aldridge ripped a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning against Lewis-Cass in regionals. That hit by Aldridge gave her team the win and the regional title!

I decided that my number one play this week would be Mason Sandy's chip shot in sectionals. That was one of the most amazing chips I have seen! What a great week for Martin's Moments!
