Lafayette Jeff wins their 5th straight sectional championship

BATTLE GROUND, Ind. (WLFI) - The Lafayette Jeff girl’s golf team won their fifth consecutive sectional title on Saturday at the Battle Ground Golf Club as Samantha Hatter, Lindsey Burklow, and Abbie Carlsen each finished in the top 3 individually for the Bronchos.

For most of the afternoon it was a battle for third place that was the most intriguing. Down the stretch the West Lafayette Red Devils held off a late surge from the Benton Central bison to secure one of the top three spots.
