Josh and Aurielle celebrate Game Night

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Josh Lindblom Foundation hosted it’s 2nd Annual Charity Game Night at the Lafayette Theater and it was a successful night for the former Harrison Raider.

“Last year was awesome because we were able to raise twenty thousand dollars for the backpack program in Tippecanoe County. This year we benefited them as well as Vision of Hope which is a women's rehabilitation facility in town,” said Lafayette native and former Harrison Raider Josh Lindblom.

The event featured live and silent auction items donated by local businesses and major league baseball teams and players. Some of the featured items included a Philadelphia Getaway, Orlando and Disney World Trips, autographed Luke Bryan Guitar, concert tickets, baseball memorabilia and spa packages. Josh and Aurielle Lindblom hosted the event with help from Auctioneer J. Alan Goetz.

Josh Lindblom and his wife Aurielle, founded the Josh Lindblom Foundation last year to raise funds for families and children in need, and provide financial support for other charitable organizations.

“It's just a great night for people to come out and give back. The support that this community has shown us over the last two years has been unbelievable. We realized this year that it's not about the amount of dollars we can raise but the amount of lives we can affect in the community and that is the most important thing is how many people we can affect,” said Lindblom.
