WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) -

Emily Johnson was hired as the new head girls’ soccer coach at Harrison on Friday.

Johnson replaces Arin Yarc Keen who resigned in December 2012 after six years at the helm of the Raiders program.

Johnson has been an assistant coach at West Lafayette High School for the past four seasons. Before earning her teaching degree from Purdue University, she was an outstanding two sport athlete at Penn High School.

Johnson plans to incorporate an aggressive defense and use multiple offenses as the leader of the Raider program. Johnson’s recommendation will be presented to the Tippecanoe School Corporation’s Board of School Trustees at their February meeting.
