WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Former Purdue Boilermaker Robbie Hummel has signed a two-year marketing contract with Granite Management.

Granite Student Living, a service of Granite Management LLC, provider of the widest selection of rental apartments and townhomes throughout the Purdue University area, has signed a two-year marketing contract with Purdue basketball favorite, now Minnesota Timberwolf, Robbie Hummel.

Hummel, who was selected 58 th overall in the recent NBA draft, has been a resident with Granite since 2010.

Now, as he transitions to Minneapolis, his relationship with Granite will transition from tenant to company spokesperson in an integrated marketing plan outlined to include print and online advertising, bus graphics and other campaign components.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be a company spokesperson for Granite Management,” says Hummel. “They are a first class organization from top to bottom.”

Granite’s managing partner, Brent Gutwein, issues the same sentiments.

“This is an exciting time, and we’re really happy to see Robbie get drafted into the NBA. Getting to know Robbie, we’ve really come to appreciate his class and work ethic as a professional. They’re attributes that align with the way we approach our business, and that’s why we felt it was a perfect promotional fit.”

The new Granite Student Living campaign featuring Hummel will begin at the height of the student influx for this coming school year.
