Boiler recruits scrimmage on campus

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A number of Purdue basketball recruiting targets are taking part in the 2009 Puccini's Boilermaker Shootouts Team Camp on the Purdue campus, including Branden Dawson. He is junior-to-be small forward from Gary.

Another player the Boilermaker coaching staff is keeping a close eye on is Chasson Randle. Randle is a skilled 6-foot-1 point guard from Rock Island, Illinois who, like Dawson, is in the Class of 2011.

Austin Burgett, who just finished his freshman year at Avon High School, is already 6-foot-7 and 205 pounds. Burgett is in the Class of 2012.

The latest verbal commitment for Head Coach Matt Painter and Boilermaker men's basketball is Donnie Hale.
