WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Former Central Catholic pitcher and current member of Parkland College's baseball team, Brett Haan has verbally committed to play baseball at Purdue.
Haan was the winning pitcher for the Knights in their 2011 state championship game.
This past season Haan pitched in seven games for Parkland College. He struck out 23 batters and finished the season with a 2-1 record. He had an ERA of 4.13.
Haan will play one more season with Parkland and will then be eligible to join the Boilers in the fall of 2013.
