INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) - Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown is expected to be sidelined at least two weeks after Brown suffered torn cartilage in one of his knees.
The injury to Brown happened when Brown was scoring on a two-point conversion with 35 seconds remaining in the Colts 30-27 victory over Green Bay last Sunday.
Rookie Vick Ballard will start in place of Brown.
Also on Wednesday, Colts veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Wayne had 13 receptions for a career-high 212 yards, including the game-winning catch against the Packers.
The Colts travel east to take on the New York Jets Sunday at one p.m. The game will air on WLFI.
