WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The semi-final round of the Men's City Golf Tournament presented by Bob Rohrman Toyota took place on Saturday at Kampen Course.
Last year's champion Jacob Yocum was taking on former West Lafayette boys golf coach Shane Fry in one of the semi-final matches. Yocum and Fry were tied coming into hole 9. Fry won the hole and took a one hole lead. However, on hole 10 Yocum withdrew from the tournament due to back pain. Fry now advances on to the finals on Sunday.
Four-time Men's City champion Brent Hofman was competing against 2010 Men's City champion Craig Hutchinson in the other semi-final match. Hofman played a great round of golf and beat Hutchinson to advance on to Sunday's final round.
