CHALMERS, Ind. (WLFI) - Frontier's volleyball team won its second straight regional title on Tuesday night in front of a packed out home crowd.

The Lady Falcons beat Riverton Parke in three sets 25-10, 25-16, and 25-17.

"We are really pumped that we won regionals and we didn't go in there over confident," said Frontier senior Corin Runk.

"This definitely marks one of our best games and to be our last home game as seniors we are really overwhelmed about it but we are really happy we came out and played well and left with a win," said Frontier senior Jenna Sullivan.

"Knowing that we did this two years in a row is really exciting for us," said Frontier senior Kattie Lee. "We played well.

Frontier was led by Sullivan and Lee. Sullivan finished with 11 kills, 7 blocks, and and 6 digs. Lee had 12 kills, 4 blocks, and 12 digs. Runk added 3 aces and 9 digs in the win.

The Lady Falcons now make their second straight trip to semistate. This year Frontier will face Pioneer in game one on Saturday morning at Caston. They will follow game one which is set to begin at 11:00 am.

"We have some unfinished business that we need to learn to take care of and I think this year is our year to do it," said Sullivan.

"We know we have to take one game at a time and so we have Pioneer on Saturday and we need to take that game and play well," said Frontier's head coach Shelly Pullins.

If Frontier wins game one, then they will advance on to the night game at semistate. If the Lady Falcons pull out the win in that game, they will advance on to the state title game. Frontier has never had a sports team play in a state title game.
