ANDERSON, Ind. (WLFI) - The Indianapolis Colts will face another first tomorrow with Andrew Luck under center. A road trip, something half the Colts roster has yet to experience in the NFL.
The focus after breaking camp in Anderson is to keep improving, build the monster, the motto coach Pagano is preaching. It will be the Colts first look at starting defensive end Cory Redding who missed the pre-season opener with an elbow injury.
Big number 90's fired up, not only to get back in game-mode, but to teach his young teammates some valuable lessons of life on the road.
“It's a business trip so treat it as such. Be on time to all your meetings, look at your play book, studying, you can never have to much time to study. Get in that book anytime you can. On the plane, on the bus, in the meeting room, treat it as a business trip, we are going up there for one reason and one reason only and that's to win,” said defensive end Cory Redding.
As for the youngsters, Jerry Hughes doesn’t need any extra motivation for playing the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
“It's easy to get ready to play. On a Sunday when we are done with training camp mode, hitting each other and now we get to put our focus on somebody else so anytime you are under the bright lights on Sunday night you know it's always good,” said outside linebacker Jerry Hughes.
