DETROIT, MI (WLFI) - Several media outlets have reported that former Purdue Boilermaker Cliff Avril signed his 10.6 million dollar tender and ended his holdout with the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
He passed his physical and has reported to training camp.
Avril spoke about his signing via his twitter account, "If ur heart is filled with faith then you can't fear, back to work let's get it #WIN."
He is the only NFL player with at least 19.5 sacks, nine deflected passes, seven forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries the past two seasons.
