WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI) - Purdue advances to play in the NIT final four in New York with a
78-46 win over Loyola.
The Boilers held Loyola to just twenty percent shooting and only
allowed 14 points in the first half as Purdue cruised to victory
Tuesday night at Mackey Arena.
Five Boilermakers scored in double figure. E'Twaun Moore
(14), Robbie Hummel (13), Marcus Green (12), Keaton Grant (11), and
Nemanja Calasan (11).
Purdue was given a big boost from Senior Marcus Green who picked
up the slack on the boards, leading the gold and black with 10
rebounds.
Purdue plays Coppin State Saturday before traveling to New York
to play in the NIT final four on Wednesday at Madison Square
Garden.
