WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - GoldandBlack.com's Kyle Charters is reporting that Head Coach Sharon Versyp and Purdue women's basketball has received a verbal commitment this week from a Georgia post player.
Junior-to-be Bree Horrocks verbally committed to Boiler women's basketball after attending Purdue's elite camp this week.
Horrocks is a 6-foot-4 post player who is Boilermaker women's basketball's first Class of 2014 recruit.
Horrocks tells GoldandBlack.com that she had offers from Georgia and Southern Mississippi and schools such as Memphis and Maryland had shown interest.
