HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (WLFI) - Purdue women's basketball came back from a seven-point second-half deficit to defeat Wisconsin 74-62 Friday afternoon at the women's Big Ten Basketball Tournament in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
KK Houser led the Boilermakers scoring attack with 15 points. Senior forward Drey Mingo added 13 points.
The Boilers trailed the Badgers 42-35 early in the second half before going on a 24-7 run to take a 59-49 lead with just under six and a half minutes to go in the game.
Sam Ostarello added nine points, 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots for the victorious Boilermakers.
Purdue, the third seed in the Big Ten Tournament, will face third-seeded Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals Saturday at 5 p.m. Eastern time. The Boilermakers defeated the Cornhuskers in a double overtime thriller in last year's championship game of the Big Ten Tournament.
