WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue Head Football Coach Danny Hope believes his team will be ready for Saturday's Homecoming game at Ross-Ade Stadium against Wisconsin, which will take place one week after the Boilermakers were clobbered at home by Michigan 44-13.
"I'd be disappointed if we were so weak-minded that we would let a loss linger and affect the outcome and the potential of our team this season," Hope said during his weekly press conference Tuesday. "I believe that we've weathered the storm."
The Badgers handed the Boilers a 62-17 loss last year in Madison, Wisconsin.
"Obviously, the potential magnitude of this football game will get our team's attention," Hope added. "And, obviously, we'll need all of our focus toward getting ready to play Wisconsin."
Saturday's game between the Boilermakers and the Badgers kicks off at noon Eastern time at Ross-Ade Stadium.
