Lafayette Mustang baseball team advances
All-Stars defeat Herrin, Illinois 12-2

JOLIET, Ill. (WLFI) - The Lafayette Mustang All-Stars youth baseball team defeated a team from Herrin, Illinois 12-2 Wednesday night at a zone tournament in Joliet, Illinois.
The winning pitcher for the Mustang All-Stars team was A.J. Bordenet. The team consists of 9 and 10 year old players from Lafayette.
The head coach of the Lafayette Mustang All-Stars is Kevin Riley and the assistant coach of the squad is Lenny Guida.
The Mustang baseball zone tournament runs through Saturday in Joliet.
