LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Remington Post 280 and Lafayette Post 11 both advanced to the regional round competition thanks to their respective performances at the 2012 Lafayette American Legion Sectional Tournament, which concluded Sunday at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette with Remington Post 280 defeating Lafayette Post 11 by a final margin of 7-4.
Remington Post 280 took the lead for good by scoring five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
