LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Olympic gold medalist and former Purdue diving standout David Boudia will be a spokesman for an area bank, as Boudia announced on his social media Twitter account that he's signed on to be a spokesman for Lafayette Savings Bank.

Boudia will help promote the bank's personal banking services. Boudia is currently a student at Purdue.

Boudia won a gold medal last August in the 10-meter platform diving competition at the Summer Olympics in London. The former Boilermaker, who won six national titles during his sensational diving career at Purdue, also won a bronze medal in the 10-meter synchronized diving competition in London.

Lafayette Savings Bank was founded by John  Purdue in the same year in which Mr. Purdue founded Purdue University.
