LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) - The Cass County community will officially welcome Trine University at a ribbon cutting and open house Wednesday afternoon in Logansport.

The public is welcome to attend to receive a tour of the new campus and learn more about the university. Logansport Mayor Mike Fincher is expected to be in attendance as well as the Vice President of Trine University.

The ribbon cutting will begin at 1:30 Wednesday. The open house will run from 2:00 until 7:00.

Trine University is housed in the former Ivy Tech building at 2815 East Market Street in Logansport.
