LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A subsidiary of the Wabash National Corporation is selling a production facility in Anna, Illinois, and consolidating operations into its plant in Cadiz, Kentucky.
The company said platform production at the Illinois plant will stop sometime during the first half of 2010. The Wabash National subsidiary, Transcraft, is selling the Illinois facility to a local man, Rusty Flamm. Flamm owns Rusty's Home Center, a lumberyard, and a home center business with locations in Anna and Vienna, Illinois. Flamm told Wabash National he planned to expand his business and hopes to bring new business to the Anna, Illinois, area.
Wabash National said 70 to 75 associates currently work at the Anna, Illinois, plant.
