PORTLAND, Ore. (WLFI) - Purdue basketball players Chris Kramer expressed relief that
former teammate Carl Landry was OK after the Houston Rockets'
forward was shot in the left leg in downtown Houston early Tuesday
morning.
"It's a tough situation," said Purdue junior guard Chris Kramer,
who was a teammate of Landry's at Purdue during the 2006-2007
season, "Luckily, it was just a flesh wound in the leg and not
something more serious."
Senior guard Bobby Riddell, who was a Boilermaker teammate of
Landry's for two seasons, added that Landry was very down to earth
during his time as a Boilermaker.
"He (Landry) was a great teammate, a great guy. Really unselfish
" said Riddell.
Landry attended Rockets' practice Wednesday morning and is
expected to be sidelined 1-2 weeks.
