Pastor goes to DC for gun control talks

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A local pastor left for Washington D.C. Sunday to meet with Vice President Joe Biden to discuss strategies on reducing gun violence.

Reverend Charles R. Harrison with the Ten Point Coalition left Sunday to serve as a delegate from the Indianapolis Congregation Action Network, also known as IndyCAN, according to a release.

The meeting with Vice President Biden will be to create a strategy like Operation: CEASEFIRE uses to reduce gun violence.

Harrison, Pastor of Barnes United Methodist Church and President of the Ten Point Coalition, was chosen to represent IndyCAN in D.C.
