WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Wheat is harvested the old fashioned way at one farm in Tippecanoe County. Farmers at the Little K Farm use tractors and equipment from long ago to harvest wheat. Marion Klutzke holds the annual wheat harvesting festival every year and invites the public out to the farm to watch.
People can also get a glimpse of antique tractors from the 1930's and on.
Yesterday's rain put a little damper on this years harvest.
But, Klutzke says the show will go on because it's important for people to learn the history.

"That's what I'm trying to do here. Keep the history, so you can see what happened in the 30's and 40's. We have combines that combine wheat the old ways. We have fun getting them out and getting some of them to run and do what they did years ago," said Marion Klutzke.

The farm is located in Tippecanoe County at 6037 West, 75 North.
