DENVER, CO. (WLFI) - Two Purdue aviation students took off in a race through the air at 1:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday.
The race spans several days and the duo will be sending back blogs abou the race and photos of their race route. You can follow them on our Air Race Classic Tracker Page.
Senior captain Juliana Lindner and junior co-pilot Lauren Steele left West Lafayette last week to prepare for this year's Air Race Classic.
The duo is competing against teams from six other schools in the all-female race through nine states over the next four days.
The event starts today in Denver, Colorado, and ends in Atlantic, Iowa.
Purdue's team finished third last year.
