Mother, two children, injured in crash

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A mother and her two children were injured in a one vehicle crash 1/2 mile west of Jefferson on State Road 28.

Clinton County Deputy Matthew Myers said 29-year-old Trinity Storms of Muncie was headed east on State Road 28 when she fell asleep. Storms had been traveling eastbound when her vehicle suddenly swerved northward and crossed the median. Myers said the vehicle rolled over twice and crossed the westbound lane before ending up on the ditch on the north side of the roadway.

Myers said Storms and her two children were transferred to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Myers said the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Both lanes of State Road 28 have been re-opened.
