Officer injured in crash

Delphi police officer treated for minor injuries

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A Delphi police officer was involved in a minor personal injury crash. 

Officer Justin Wilson was turning around in a driveway, with his emergency lights activated to pursue a speeding vehicle.  When he pulled onto the roadway, he was struck by another vehicle. 

The Delphi Police Department said the crash happened Thursday, June 18 at about 2:20 a.m. on State Road 25, near County Road 625 West in Carroll County.

Officer Wilson was treated at Home Hospital and released. 

The crash is being investigating by the Carroll County Sheriff's Department.
