Two car crash claims life of one

The crash happened on US 231 near County Road 400 North in Montgomery County. State Police say 55 year old Robert Hubbard from Hillsboro was traveling northbound on US 231. Police say preliminary investigation shows Hubbard lost control of his vehicle and was T-boned by 28 year old Mark Osborn from Bainbridge. Osborn was treated for a leg injury at St. Claire Hospital in Crawfordsville. Hubbard was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma to his body. Trooper Jim Cody says both men were wearing seatbelts but, “seatbelt and airbags would not have saved Mr. Hubbard because of the severity of the crash." The crash still remains under investigation at this time.
