CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. - Slick roads and speed could have been factors in a crash that took the life of a Cutler man just after midnight Monday.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Department says 35-year old Ryan Lee Roth was killed when he lost control of his pickup truck on County Road 400 South just east of County Road 150 West.

Deputy Tony Liggett says Roth was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
