LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Registration is now open for Little Spikers volleyball at the YWCA. The goal of Game Point’s Little Spikers youth program is to help teach and enjoy volleyball throughout the community.

In addition to volleyball fundamentals such as serving, passing, setting, hitting and rules of the game, participants will improve hand-eye coordination, balance, body awareness, footwork, agility, spatial awareness and communication.

According to the YWCA, the emphasis will be on “FUN”damentals and teamwork.

The Little Spikers program runs from Jan. 13 to Feb. 17 on Sundays from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.

It’s open to all third to sixth grade children, with a fee of $50 per player.

For more information you can email dody@performancepoinsports.com or call the YWCA at 765-742-0075 or Dody McIntyre at 765-426-5491.
