BATTLE GROUND, Ind. (WLFI) - The wolves at Wolf Park spent the day howling for a super celebration.
Wolf Park hosted a Super Howl Party. Families enjoyed touchdown tours and fun games. Arni's donated 18 pizzas for the event.
Wolf Park partnered with the Lafayette and West Lafayette Convention and Visitors Bureau in an effort to celebrate this year's Super Bowl taking place so close to home.
Wolf Park's Director of Development, Denise Pearson, said the park wanted to provide local families with an opportunity to celebrate the Super Bowl coming to the state of Indiana. She said Wolf Park even planned something special for the wolves as well.
"The wolves get homemade footballs made out of cardboard and painted with their treats in it. So it'll be filled with things like pig ears, and pizza, of course, and some fun things like that," Pearson said.
