Wolcott under boil order until Thursday

WOLCOTT, Ind. (WLFI) - The town of Wolcott has been placed under a boil order, effective until 3:00 p.m. Thursday.

A water main broke at US 24 and Scott Street on Tuesday, leading to an interruption in water service for Wolcott customers.

Service will be interrupted again from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday.

Wolcott residents are advised to boil water used for consumption and cooking for approximately three minutes, until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4.

The boil order is seen as a precautionary measure.
