West Lafayette robbery nets man 16 years

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Donald Sisson, 42, of Otterbein, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after he broke into a West Lafayette apartment last December, beat up the man inside and stole the man's wallet, valuables and car.

Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Pat Harrington said Sisson had bought a car from the victim a few months earlier.

Sisson pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in bodily injury as well as being a habitual offender. He was also sentenced to 4 years of probation.
