WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Where Else? Bar has officially moved out of its location near Northwestern Avenue and State Street. It's to make room for a 20,000 square foot development.
The new development will house a restaurant, convenience store and possibly apartments. West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis said a time line for demolition has not been set.
"The proximity of this project [is near] some of our major thoroughfares of the city," Dennis said. "We encourage them to do it when there will be less people here, which means when the students are gone."
Where Else? Bar will open across the street in Chauncey Hill Mall. According to Where Else? promotions, the bar will reopen in its new building Nov. 1.
