WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue students needing an H1N1 vaccine will have three opportunities to get one this week.

The student health center will be offering the vaccine at three different sites as part of Purdue's Wellness Week.

The vaccine is free for students.

Employees will need to show their Purdue-sponsored insurance card to cover the $12 fee.

The Center for Disease Control said current H1N1 activity is low, but they expect additional cases to emerge during the next few months.

The following sites will be offering the vaccine:

  • Recreational Sports Center/Monday 4:00p.m.-7:00p.m.
  • Purdue Memorial Union/Wednesday 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m.
