KOKOMO, Ind. (WLFI) - Officers of the Kokomo Police Department were dispatched to the Kokomo Manor Apartments around 12:45 Sunday morning in reference to an armed robbery.
Officers said the victim and his brother were walking in the west parking lot of the apartment complex , when they were approached by three black males. The victim said the males pointed a handgun at them and ordered them to the ground.
The victim said they were searched by the suspects, and one of the victims was hit in the face with the handgun. He said the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise from them, and then ran away.
The victim that was struck in the face was taken to Howard Regional Health Systems where he received stitches to his face.
The victims describe the first suspect as a black male, approximately 5'8", between 120-130 pounds, possibly in his early 20's, and wearing dark clothing. He said suspect two is a black male, approximately 5'6", between 180-185 pounds, possibly in his early 20's, and wearing a white tee-shirt. Suspect three is described as a black male wearing dark clothing.
