INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) - Although the big winners of the estimated $587.5 million Powerball jackpot went to tickets sold in Arizona and Missouri, the Hoosier Lottery said Thursday two tickets worth $1 million were sold in Indiana.
The winning numbers in last night's drawing were: 5-16-22-23-29 PB: 6.
A pair of tickets, one sold in Vincennes and the other in Highland, matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball.
One ticket was sold at United PSM located at 601 Wheatland Road in Vincennes. The other ticket was purchased at Highland Citgo on 8317 Kennedy Avenue in Highland.
The Hoosier Lottery reported 206,000 tickets were sold with winnings of more than $3.1 million total during Wednesday night's drawing. An additional 24,000 winning Powerball tickets in Indiana included the Power Play option and accounted for an additional $261,900 in prizes.
Officials with the Hoosier Lottery suggest you check the numbers on your ticket carefully and sign the back immediately.
