Triple XXX burger in the Final 4

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - It's coming down to the wire in the Indiana Super 46 sandwich contest. The Triple XXX Restaurant's Duane Purvis All-American burger has made the final 4.

Videojournalist Jamie Long caught up with diner in the final days of the competition.  

"The whole competition from start to finish and to this point has been fun. It's been real exciting. We've a tremendous amount of fun with it.  We've had a lot of great response. Good interactions with customers and friends trying to help out," said owner Greg Ehresman.

"It is wonderful. Of couse i love peanut butter and jelly and I love my hamburgers.  This is just a wonderful combination. Anyone that doesn't try it is really missing something," said Aillen Steele of Medaryville, IN.

"Today, I got the Duane Purvis burger. It's what I get every time. It's delicious. I love the peanut butter. It's that weird, salty, and creamy texture in your mouth. You can't beat the flavor," said Purdue Junior Alec Turner.

"The words 'Final Four', for whatever reason, makes me nervous. Because of what that means. We are down at the wire on this thing. Now it's serious and we want to win," added Ehresman.
