FLORA, Ind. (WLFI) - A trailer in Flora is being called a complete loss after a fire Monday afternoon.
The fire started around 2 p.m. on 3rd Street between Elizabeth Street and County Road 50 South.
Fire Chief Mike Cottrell said two renters were home when the fire started. Cottrell said they heard the smoke detector go off and saw flames and smoke in a bedroom.
Firefighters believe that's likely where the fire started, but the cause remains under investigation.
The fire was out in about 20 minutes and no one was injured.
The Flora Fire Department responded to the call with help from Camden and Cutler Fire Departments as well as the Red Cross.
