WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A West Lafayette drug detection dog helped officers locate methamphetamine inside of a car.
West Lafayette Police said they pulled a car over for a routine traffic stop in the 2900 block of North Salisbury Street.
Once the vehicle was pulled over, a K-9 alerted officers to narcotics inside the car.
Police said 24-year-old Seth Rogers of Monticello, 30-year-old Shannon Vuolo of Monticello and 31-year-old Larry Cearing of Monticello, all face preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors.
Police said 21-year-old Tabitha Bonnell of Monticello was also in the car, and faces a preliminary charge of possession of a legend drug.
Rogers also faces six other preliminary charges, including possession of anhydrous ammonia, possession of a legend drug, unlawful possession of a drug syringe, possession of spice (more than 2 grams), conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, dealing in spice and possession of a schedule III narcotic.
Vuolo faces four other preliminary charges, including possession of anhydrous ammonia, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug and unlawful possession of a drug syringe.
Cearing faces two other preliminary charges,including possession of anhydrous ammonia, and unlawful possession of a drug syringe.
