Toddler continues fight against Leukemia

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) - We have an update to a story we first brought you a few months ago.

One-year-old Aubrey Deno was diagnosed with Leukemia this summer and now she is fighting for her life.

Her father Dustin Deno says Aubrey is in the ICU on a ventilator and getting dialysis.

He says Aubrey had a bone marrow transplant that was successful, but she had to have chemotherapy, which led to liver problems.

Aubrey also retained a lot of fluid, putting pressure on her kidneys and lungs.

Deno said his little girl is a fighter though.

He asked anyone who wants to help to vote for the Say Love Foundation on the Pepsi Refresh competition website.
