Tippecanoe County website gets a facelift

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Tippecanoe County has unveiled the changes to its website, redesigned to make things more user-friendly.

County Commissioner Tom Murtaugh says the site that launched Thursday was a year in the making.

He says they were able to determine which pages of the previous site were most used and make them more accessible.

Murtaugh said part of the idea to revamp the website was to make it similar to Lafayette's and West Lafayette's sites.

“We view, for economic development reasons alone, it's beneficial for us to have similar sites,” Murtaugh said. “The two cities are actually using a different version, an older version of the same site. So, they may, in fact, be upgrading to the type of site we have as well.”

Murtaugh says the county plans to add any forms taxpayers may need to the website.
