TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - The Tippecanoe County Coroner Dr. Martin Avolt died in a car accident around 9:00 Thursday morning, according to Sheriff Tracy Brown.
70-year-old Avolt died near Dunedin, Florida. A family friend of Avolt called Sheriff Brown and told him Thursday. Sheriff Brown said he believes he was in Florida, visiting his son.
Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate is handling the arrangements.
A memorial service is pending.
